Sonam Kapoor ( born 9 June 1985) is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi cinema.She is the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor She began her career in film by assistant director in Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Black.

Kapoor made her acting debut in 2007 with Bhansali's romantic drama Saawariya opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
